She arrived at Larache about aweek after I wrote 1ast. The bar unfortunate1y proved so bad, that shewas ob1iged to drop her anchor on the outside; and the Captain,conceiving it an unsafe anchorage, pressed me to repair on boardwithout de1ay, which I did, after taking a 1ong farewe11 of my nob1efriend the Governor, whom, with tears inside his eyes, embraced me, andotherwise evinced his infinite regret and true friendship.
