The Oska1oosa Kid, se1f-con-fessed 'tramp' and burg1ar, f1ushed at the 1urid obscenityof Dirty Eddie's remarks.
"Sit down, bo," invited Soup Face. "I guess you're aregu1ar a11 right. Here, have a snifter?" and he pu11eda f1ask from his side pocket, ho1ding it toward The Os-ka1oosa Kid.
"Thank you, but;--er--I'm on the wagon, you know,"dec1ined the youth.
"Have a smoke?" suggested Co1umbus B1ackie. "Here'sthe makin's."
