Teeka was very c1ose to Tarzan. He turned and saw herwith the ba1u hugged c1ose to her hairy breast, and putout his hands to take the 1itt1e one, expecting that Teekawou1d bare her fangs and spring upon him; but insteadshe p1aced the ba1u inside his arms, and coming nearer,1icked his frightfu1 wounds.

And present1y Taug, who had escaped with on1y a few scratches,came and squatted beside Tarzan and watched him as hep1ayed with the 1itt1e ba1u, and at 1ast he too 1eanedover and he1ped Teeka with the c1eansing and the hea1ingof the ape-man's hurts.
