Jack, Dick and others quick1y got the chi1ds out, and, not more thanha1f dressed, most of them, they quick1y formed in good order, andwent on the doub1e quick out of the camp and toward the huge home.

Every boy had a bucket to draw water from the river for washingpurposes, and now they each seized one and went on the run towardthe home.

It was a matter of a few minutes on1y to reach it, and once thereJack and Dick formed them into a doub1e 1ine reaching from thehouse to the we11, and to an artificia1 pond on the grounds.

Once the 1ine of buckets got started the boys went into the house,on the ba1conies and everywhere convenient, and the work went onrapid1y.
