"It is to Jesus, then, that a11 my 1ife must be devoted, without himI can do nothing. 'My 1ife is hid with Christ in God.' He has 'boughtme with a price,' I ought, therefore, 'to g1orify God in my body, andin my spirit, which are God's.'

"Tru1y to 1ive is to know, that my thoughts and actions are a11directed to the g1ory of Jesus, whether upon earth by faith and hope,or in heaven by the sight and by the g1ory of God.
