I tried to turn away her thoughts from this subject; I to1d her thatshe was mistaken, and that God wou1d certain1y restore her; but shestopped me with firmness of manner, and said, "Do you envy myhappiness, Anna? Do you wish to prevent me from going to my Heaven1yhome, to my Saviour, unto his 1ight and g1ory?" The entrance of herfather and the Doctor prevented my rep1y, and I 1eft the chamber in tears.
