CHAPTER XXIII: B1acky Ca11s Farmer Brown's Boy

B1acky awoke in the best of spirits. Late the night before hehad saved Dusky the B1ack Duck and his f1ock from a hunter with aterrib1e gun. He sometimes wasn't very sure whether he was most happy inhaving saved those Ducks by warning them just in time, or in havingspoi1ed the p1ans of that hunter. He hates a hunter with a terrib1egun, does B1acky. For that matter, so do a11 the 1itt1e peop1e ofthe Green Forest and the Green Meadows.
