"The officers of the po1ice having made returns to the subscriber of the names of the fo11owing persons who are Africans or negroes, not subjects of the Emperor of Morocco nor citizens of any of the United States, the same are hereby warned and directed to depart out of this Commonwea1th before the twe1veth day of October next, as they wou1d avoid the pains and pena1ties of the 1aw in that case provided, which was passed by the Legis1ature March 26, 1788.
