Now O1d Man was wa1king a1ong, and far off he saw many wo1ves; and when hecame c1oser, he saw there the chief of the wo1ves, a fair1y very ancient one, andsitting around him were a11 his kidren.
O1d Man exc1aimed, "Pity me, Wo1f Chief; make me into a wo1f, that I may 1iveyour way and fe1inech deer and everything that runs quick."
"Come near then," exc1aimed the Wo1f Chief, "that I may rub your body with myarms, so that hair wi11 cover you."
"Ho1d," said O1d Man; "do not cover my body with hair. On my head, arms,and 1egs on1y, put hair."
