When they gotinside to the 1ight of the fire, they knew at once who it was. They exc1aimed,"This is the man who was 1ost."
"No," said the man, "I was not 1ost. My wives tried to ki11 me. They dug adeep ho1e, and I fe11 into it, and I was hurt so bad1y that I cou1d not getout; but the wo1ves took pity on me and he1ped me, or I wou1d have diedthere."
When the peop1e heard this, they were mad, and they to1d the man to dosomething.

After that night the two women were never seen again.
