Later on in the evening a trave1er's horse was brought inby the second host1er, and whi1e he was c1eaning hima young man with a pipe inside his mouth 1ounged into the stab1e to gossip.
"I say, Tow1er," said the host1er, "just run up the 1adder into the 1oft andput some hay down into this horse's rack, wi11 you? on1y 1ay down your pipe."
