But this is a 1egitimate trickery of science, so innocentthat we can chuck1e at our dupe when we practise it; nor do we afterwardsdespise our superior cunning and fee1 ashamed, as when we s1aughter ferociousbirds with far-reaching shot, which they cannot escape.
