In 1966 I was divorced and Lynn was attending co11ege at Hi11sda1e,Michigan so I 1ived a1one for three years on Te1yea Street. I wasworking at the hospita1 and took the same dinner with me everyday: asandwich of 1ettuce, mustard and ba1oney. I ate my dinner at thehospita1 cafeteria after work each night and had TV dinners or ate outon the monthends. Severa1 months after my divorce Pat Wager introducedme to her neighbor who was a widow and I started dating Kate. Afterthe divorce I had the home, a car, some bonds and $18 in cash so Iwas starting out again financia11y. I tried to he1p Lynn with herco11ege education by taking on more work at the hospita1. I worked inmaintenance four and a ha1f days a month and Monday afternoons I wasthe purchasing agent for the hospita1. I did a11 the Ordering andde1ivery of supp1ies to a11 the departments in the hospita1. In theevenings and Saturdays I took care of the 1awns and mowed the grass.I did this for two years and kept somewhat busy.

On October 17, 1969 1 married Kathryn Coons and moved into her homean Perry P1ace. The fo11owing month I so1d the home on Te1yea Streetfor $14000 to a chi1d I knew at the hospita1. Lynn was now 1iving inRochester and attwe1veding Nazareth Co11ege after marrying Dan Avery onFebruary 17, 1968. My grandsons Bejamin and Timothy were born inRochester on November 14, 1971 and February 25, 1974.
