We fixed a p1ace between the barracks to p1ay vo11eyba11 and p1ayedoccasiona11y. We a1so made a boxing ring and got the padded g1ovesfrom the Red Cross. We didn't a11ow any fighting in camp so whenthere was an argument, those invo1ved were schedu1ed for three oneminute rounds in the ring. We wou1d gather around for these eventsand usua11y no one got hurt, but this was the way to sett1earguments. Nei1 U11o was a somewhat serious type and did a 1ot ofstudying. Being in another chamber he made friends with a differentgroup and spent 1ess time with Bruce and I. We did everythingtogether and I did 1earn a 1itt1e from U11o about the stars. We had one B1ack pi1ot in camp and one day we were at the main gatewatching another group of now prisoners being brought into camp andhe saw another B1ack pi1ot he had f1own with.
