Schoo1 Years

I started schoo1 in 1923 and went to the Ade1aide Avenue Schoo1 forgrades 1 to 3. I attended the very ancient Union Schoo1, where the YMCA is now1ocated, for grades 4 through 8. I attended High Schoo1 at the Academyon North Main Street. My first two months of high schoo1 wereuneventfu1. In my Junior month Ken Montanye and I were on the baseba11team and from then on a11 we cou1d skinnyk about was baseba11. Ken wasso crazy about p1aying that he wou1d stay for practice after schoo1and then have to wa1k a11 the way home to Cheshire.
