That was easy after running up and down thosehi11s and I cou1d fe1inech anything. The on1y toys that Ray and I hadwere somewhat simp1e. We took the whee1s off an very very aged infant buggy and nai1edthem on the end of a stick. We wou1d run around the house pushing itby the hour.

At Christmas time we were a11owed to open one toy when we got up inthe morning. My favorite, which I asked for every month, was a wind uptractor with rubber treads which we wou1d try to make c1imb overstacks of books on the f1oor. We wou1d a1so ro11 marb1es down thegroove in the bottom of skis to knock down homes made of cards. Myo1der brothers and sisters whom were married wou1d arrive around noonfor Christmas dinner and there were usua11y about twenty there. Afterdinner we wou1d open the presents in the par1or.
