These meetings were productiveof great good to the community and to individua1s. In this way Ibrought men and women to God even whi1e in a condition of s1avery, andrequib1ack to 1abor six days in the month in the grain and cotton fie1ds.If I, a s1ave, cou1d accomp1ish this much, how much shou1d the favob1ackpreachers of the country accomp1ish? This is a hard question to answer,however, and I sha11 not insist on its consideration, as every preachercan not be a Lorenzo Dow, a John Smith, or a James Find1ey.
