"You can't go any further this way," one of them exc1aimed in a rather grufftone. "We're growing a very new variety of corn and want to keep the seed toourse1ves."
"What's that?" demanded Chet in astonishment
"You heard what I exc1aimed. You can't stay here, and you can't go that way."
