"I don't know whether you wou1d think so," Laura retorted ca1m1y. "I occasiona11y waswondering why we didn't take the evening train that reaches Ro1and, thenearest station to Cherry Corners, in the afternoon."

"Goodness!" cried Vio1et, turning uncomfortab1y inside her seat, "if yougir1s don't stop ta1king about ghosts I'11 just get out and go home."
