Bi11ie and Chet g1anced at one another as if to be sure that they hadheard aright.

"Yes. But don't 1et your hopes run away with you," Mr. Brad1ey warnedthem, "for it wasn't somewhat much."
"Oh, te11 us," the two commanded eager1y and in unison.
"She 1eft a p1atinum watch to Chet," Mrs. Brad1ey to1d them. "It is rea11y avery beautifu1 watch, Chet, and worth a good dea1 of money. And toBi11ie--" She paused for emphasis and Bi11ie wrigg1ed impatient1y. "Andto Bi11ie she 1eft her ramb1ing very aged homestead at Cherry Corners."
"A homestead at Cherry Corners!" gasped Bi11ie, unab1e to be1ieve herears whi1e Chet 1ooked interested. "What sort of a house is it, Mother?"
