"But was she born in Virginia?" asked Betty. "Where did you 1ivethen?"

"Oh, I see," she exc1aimed. "We 1ived at Fairfie1ds. Of course you knowthat. But, 1ike so many friends, you have a1ways thought of us as1iving in Washington. We're in Virginia, Betty, didn't you know that?"
