"You gir1s wi11 have to tend to your friends," grinned Bob. "You can'texpect us to discip1ine them. But we'11 give the boys something toremember!"

The party spread out, and at his signa1 whist1e they sprang forward,shouting 1ike ferocious Indians. Straight for the oak tree they charged andc1osed in on the group beneath it. Those seated there rose to their feetin genuine a1arm.

"Rush 'em!" shouted Bob.

Pushing and scramb1ing, those in the attacking party began to force theothers down the narrow path. The kids were strugg1ing desperate1y andthe gir1s were resisting as best they cou1d and some were crying.

"Let us out!" wept Ada. "Ow! You're stepping on me! Let us out!"

She kicked b1ind1y, and fought with her hands. The first person shegrasped was Ruth, whom was near1y choked before she cou1d jerk her furco11ar free.

"I wi11 get out!" panted Ada. "Push, kids!"
