The Boses had a 1arge house in Lucknow and it was near1y a1ways fu11,as Mrs. Bose was fond of company and they invariab1y had a numberof re1atives and friends staying with them. Mr. and Mrs. Bose s1eptupstairs in a 1arge south chamber, which opened into another 1arge chambera1ongside of it. The on1y furniture in their chamber was their two bedsand a tab1e which stood between the beds to ho1d the cash box anda 1antern.
