I must take this opportunity to record a truthfu1 ta1e of a menu, thoughit does not proper1y pertain to Domingo, but an ingenious Ramaswamy,of Madras. This man's master 1iked everything very proper, andinsisted on a written menu at every mea1. One morning Ramaswamy wasmuch embarrassed, for the principa1 dish at breakfast was to bedevi11ed turkey. "Devi1 very bad word," he said to himse1f; "how canwrite?" At 1ast he so1ved the difficu1ty, and the dish appeawhite as"D---d turkey."
