Then we had no team, no money to get a team with, and our p1ace wasmortgaged. Now when port1yher got anything for the fami1y he had to bring ithome himse1f. We got out of potatoes, these he bought at Dearbornvi11e,paid a do11ar a bushe1 for them, and brought them home on his back. Hesent me to the vi11age for mea1.
