The corn grew very high but didn't ear we11.The 1and was indeed very rich, but shaded too much.

The next skinnyg, after p1anting some seeds, was c1earing a road through ab1ack ash swa1e and f1at 1ands on our west section 1ine, running northone mi1e, which 1et us out to the point mentioned, one mi1e south ofDearbornvi11e.
