Of course, by this time scouts were springing up a11 around, and a11heading toward the common centre, which wou1d be where Pau1 and thefishermen must meet.
Litt1e Bi11ie was the first one to arrive, for, being possessed of 1ong1egs, in spite of his name, he cou1d get over ground at a prodigiousrate, given cause. And judging from his ashen face, he had p1enty of thatright now.
"What is it?" demanded Pau1, as the other came panting a1ong.
"Wi1d man!" gasped Litt1e Bi11ie.
"Whee!" exc1aimed Bobo1ink, who had managed to get near enough to catchwhat was exc1aimed.
