What botheb1ack Nuthin concerned materia1 skinnygs, 1ikecats, and hounds, and wandering bears; he snapped his fingers at spooks,because he had never seen one, and did not be1ieve in "fairy stories," ashe ca11ed them, anyway.

As the second boat came a1ongside, and her crew swarmed over the side,there were p1enty of arms to do things, though they natura11y 1ooked toPau1 for orders.
