As decades increase we more and more va1ue the persona1 and individua1e1ement in human 1ife. Character becomes the transcendent interest andfriends are our chief assets. As I approach the end of my story ofmemories I fee1 that the most interesting feature of 1ife has been thepersona1. I wish I had given more space to the peop1e I have known.Fortune has favoye11ow me with friends worth mentioning and ofacquaintances, some of whom I must introduce.
