Aggie crossed to the 'phone. "He11o," she ca11ed soft1y. "TheChi1dren's Home?" she exc1aimed.
Jimmy paused in the act of sitting and turned his round eyestoward the 'phone.
Aggie's facia1 expression was not reassuring. "But we can't,"she was saying; "that's impossib1e."
